I'm so tired of seeing those types of slander. Is it me, or are most liberals just kind of obnoxious? Most conservatives I know aren't so "in-your-face" about politics.

Unfortunately there are some from the right just as hate minded as those you point out from the left. Those with hatred in their presentation are easy to ignore and should be ignored. The kind of slander you point out is them lashing out because they have no issues, they have no facts, and they can make no real case for their point of view. Just ignore them and let them go away....and realize some of those idiots are probably getting paid...its high political season, school (colleges) are just starting, and lots of jobs available out there to posters for a cause.

Liberals are so vocal because they think they have the intellectual upper hand, though be it very obnoxious.
Conservatives are usually very unintelligent and uninformed.
Both buy into propaganda like no tomorrow. More so conservatives who are willing to shamelessly parrot the government, Fox news, and other gems of propaganda. Conservatives don't usually bother with checking facts.
Liberals, are a little more informed and usually check into validating facts, but still parrot propaganda shamelessly.
They are both what is wrong with this country, so pay no mind to either of them.

Bush is a TERRIBLE president on ALL LEVELS. He is a terrible human being PERIOD.
The slander against Bush isn't enough IMO. I would just hope that people used all the negative energy they have against Bush and used it for something useful. Like trying to change the country and shaping it into what they want to see

Maybe it has something to do with the way that the conservatives treat people, and this may cause the incredible negative response that you see.
I have seen much slanderous talk about liberals on this site, and while not being American, it seems that conservatives slander liberal minded people by lumping them all together as left-wing hippie losers. So it is not all one sided either.
Glad to be NOT American, I wouldn't want Bush as my leader (and that doesn't make me a liberal either). Note how I carefully did not reveal my political persuasion?

because they have every right to be. just as conservatives and republicans and communists and anarchists and everyone else does. It's called democracy. If conservatives you know aren't so bothered by politics, it is perhaps for two reasons. Firstly, their appointed representative is in power so they either don't want to complain for fear of looking bad or don't need to complain because their agenda is being followed. Secondly, because they don't understand the participatory nature of democracy, which has nothing to do with elections and everything to do with shaping the world as you would wish it to be.
And perhaps, because liberals or democrats or whatever you call them are really really angry about what is happening in the country.

Don't kid yourself sweetheart. Most of the conservatives on here are way in your face with crass and inappropriate scum slander. Don't you read all the postings? I know some Libs can be crude but it's more or just as equal with the Cons.

Nope, it's not you;. you nailed it right on! Most liberals are obnoxious, rude, egotistical, and arrogant. The reason why liberals are so vocal about their opinions is because those are the only ones that matter and if you don't agree with them, then you are stupid, or uninformed, or uneducated. Don't forget, that liberals can do whatever they want to do or say, but they don't afford you the same. That's their hypocrisy in action. If they were more polite and considerate, they realize we might discover that they really have no idea what they are talking about and have no actual evidence to back up their endlessly loud rants.The funny thing is, we've already uncovered that.

People on both sides do it. From my (liberal) point of view, I see tons of far-right conservatives who are vocal in the extreme about their opinions.

Liberals are "so vocal" as you put it, because of all the NeoCons shooting their mouths off all the time. You might want to check the conservative posts - they are quite offensive.
