For the shampoos and conditioners I like Garnier Fructis, John Frieda, Herbal Essence, and Sunsilk. They all work great. You cna go to sunsilk.com to sign up for a free sample and you'll get coupons.
As for self tanners, I would go with one of the lotions that add color over time. Liek Neutrogena or Jergens has some really good ones. Make sure you exfoliate before you apply sunless tanners.
For lip gloss you can use any kind. I really like the Neutrogena stuff that has SPF 25 so your lips dont get sunburnt or anything but they stay moisturized and still have a hint of color. Most lip glosses will dry out your lips.
For eye shadow, jsut try anything that looks good to you. Don't try anything to crazy because your just starting out. I'd recomend a light brown or white and jsut apply them to your lower lids.
For mascara go for a volumizing one. One that works well and is cheap is in a hot pink and lime green bottle. I forget the brand name but it works really well.
For eyeline, I recomend Rimmel. Its kind of expensive but it's totally worth it and the I Love My Eyes brand works really well!

Vive for shampoo and conditioner. No self-tanners. Maybelline for mascara and make-up. Cheap lip gloss works the same as the expensive ones. If your skin is pimple free keep it that way by not using alot of make-up. Use Noxzema to wash everyday and you'll stay pimple free for years to come and don't use any make up that will clog your pores. A little goes along way and you want to look naturally beautiful.

Shampoo/Conditioner: Sunsilk, Pantene, John Freida, Garnier
Lipgloss/lip balm: Burts bees! I swear by it! It glides on and isn't a heavy/waxy feeling! No more chapped lips!
Self tanner: Jergens Natural Glow or Neutrogena Summer glow w/spf 20. These are actually lotions that with continious usage gives you color. No worries about streaking, orange color, or staining! Its like 2 products in one!
Eyeshadow, mascara, etc. is out of my league to advise you on...I'd ask one of the sales clerks for help for trendy, works well, moderate priced cosmetics and see what they offer you. Tell them as much info about your skin type as possible: dry, oily, acne, sensitive skin, etc. This will help them better advise you. You can also go to the higher end make up counters at the mall , like Boscovs, Macys, etc and get a free make (up) over. They' ll try to sell you their stuff, remain firm if you don't have the money, just thank them when they're done! Just make sure while they are making you over, you ask questions to them, why are you choosing this? why do you like this product? How to appl y it correctly? What do you use? Good luck to you! Just try to keep it natural looking! Enhance what you have, and your parents won't freak on you!

I like the NYC make-up products, their face powder (translucent) is awesome and its $2, I also like Suave daily clarifying shampoo and Pantene, Fructis or Thermasilk conditioner. Use a slightly tinted lip gloss at your age, light blush skip eye shadow(makes my eyes look smaller) and Oil of Olay just came out with a Touch of Sun, very light self tanner and good for your skin, altho mine is dryer and mascara try the NYC in dark brown if they have the line where you live, good stuff and inexpensive!!! Have fun, DON'T over-do it though!!!! Please make sure its ok with your folks first, ok?!

Go into a salon that offers free make overs and ask for her help. they will give you a make over plus show you how to use products. they are expecting you to buy thier product but you don't have to. Once you know the how to. Go to the drugstore and pick some stuff out. Steer clear of the color kits that have 20 eyeshadows 10 blushes, there is alot of stuff in there that you won't use so don't waste the money.

the herbal essence new line is really great. They have many different types of shampoos, conditioners and other products for just about every hair type. They are very economical and smell great. Great lip glosses can be bought from Benefit. Those can be a little pricy... but they are truly my favorite. They also have a great line of other cosmetics. Especially for younger girls. Their colors are very light and natural. The just seem to make your face brighter.

Don't use self tanners bad for skin. You don't need mascara or eye shadow, but if you want lip gloss smackers is good. Pantene Pro-V is great for anybody.

Go to the drugstore, get Bonnie Bell or Annabelle products. They are fun and have a lot of variety.

You should get a professional to put it on for you the first time - so that you know what you're doing. Most hairdressing places and beauty schools offer this service at a reasonable rate.

The best products are healthy ones that are from natural minerals. the ones i know are Arbonne Internation Products. you can buy panteen provine from walmart for your hair, self-tanners are a waste, but any wal-mart products you can use. Avon is a good source as well, but healthy ones are found at www.arbonne.com.
