I've heard that applying SB on birth marks, etc. will cause the marks to shrink and disappear over time. Is this true?

I have a few bigger ones on my back and some on my stomach and I want to clean them up without surgery. I had one removed on my back that was getting bigger and it was benign.

Thanks!!

A lady I work with said she tried this on brown "age spots" and it made them go away. If you have Swedish Bitters on hand anyway (a terrific natural laxative & digestive aid) it wouldn't hurt to try it.

Here's my two cents - never believe in a remedy that claims to be a cure-all. I did not know what Swedish Bitter was until I read your post and I investigated it a little bit. Web is full of advertising which claim how this miraculous mixture of herbs is capable of curing anything from cancer to diarrhea.

Did you look into whether you can get the marks lasered-out? A quick consultation with a reputable (emphasis on reputable) dermatologist can answer your question. Most types of birthmarks do fade with several sessions of laser.

Also lemon can fade birth marks. Why not try alternating between the Swedish butter and a bit of lemon.

You might also want to do a search to find out if there's more products out there that could help.
