One of the best dinners I ever went to gave out cookware. Glass stuff from Corning. Yeah, the same stuff you get at Walmart, but these were stylish and the kind of thing you don't see very often. It was great and I think of that night everytime we get that cookware out to use it..

One of the worst was a Christmasn themed Glass Coffee Mug. It still sits on my desk with Pens in it...I never have coffee in it and I had to find pens to put in it....just so my boss would see it on my desk.

So my suggestion is to give them something
...a) they can USE, and
...b) that they wouldn't go out and buy for themselves.

Gag gifts can be anything, tie the award to the gag. Worst Dresser of the year gets a Hand painted Hula tie where the Hula Dancer is a Man...maybe a pair of sequined slippers for the guy who "Overthinks Dressing on Casual Fridays"

Now her'es an idea to make sure that everyone gets an award.
First I'd get a few people together to make up awards. Make up an award for everyone and have a gift - either serious or gag - for every person in the room that night. This way everyone gets honored somehow...
