without giving away my idea :) i need to know how i can install a light bulb as small or smaller than a christmas light inside of my sculpture and have it run on batteries.

is there anything i need to know as far as wattage or basically to make sure the battery doesnt blow up the sculpture?
im guessing i will need 9 tiny lights.

also how do i connect them? just solder the wires to the battery input? or is there a whole complicated system of capacitors and whatnot i have to deal with?

does the size of the wire matter?

There are some really sweet christmas lights that run on batteries, little tiny strings that are for use in those little tabletop village scenes. Why not buy them ready-made like this?

Sounds like a cool idea - have fun!

study up on dc circuts. and go from there.......... I think you can by something similar to that (light system) check with radio shack or some arts and crafts stores...
