I'm a teenager and I had sex with my boyfriend but I'm going to a doctor for a Gyno test. I don't want my parents to know that I'm no longer a virgin. Can a doctor prove that i had sex ?
or just not virgin anymore?

first that would be illegal for your doctor to tell your parents your medical info and no he cant tell if you have had sex or not, because your hymen is not an indicator of virginity.

Many people are under the impression that the hymen is located within the vagina. It is not. It’s a mucous membrane that is part of the vulva, the external genital organs. It’s located outside the vagina. The hymen is a layer of tissue, just like the tissue around the opening of your vagina that partially conceals the vaginal orifice. You may or may not have one, most females do.

Some hymens are elastic enough to permit a penis to enter without tearing, or they tear only partially, and there is NO bleeding at all. When adequately lubricated the vagina is fairly 'flexible' and will stretch without discomfort for most women. Sometimes, a woman has sex for years with no real 'tearing' at all, only stretching of the hymen and then at another time the same woman might tear from 'rough sex' or sex with a different partner with a larger penis. Remnants of the hymen are usually still present until a woman delivers a baby vaginally.

Yes a doc will be able to tell. Your hymen will be broken. However, lucky for you there is a doctor client privalge which means your doc should not be reporting back to your mother.

On the other hand, as a mother and someone who has worked in OB/Gyn. Many a mother have turned into detectives to get some idea of what is going on. Mothers have asked for an itemized copy of the bill which list cost for treatments. Ex: if you ever have a test for a STD it will list it along with the price. If you are under 18 your mother can legally have acsess to review your medical hx w/o your consent. All notes, tx, or discussions with you doc are provided here and your mother can read them.

My suggestion would be to go to your local planned parenthood where your mother would not be able to get acsess to anything nor see your bills or records if she is not paying for anything. Be prepared to pay based on your income, or charged for some of the services. They are use to teenagers coming to seek services here and are better at handling your issues of privacy than a family doc.

As a parent and healthcare proivider and through experience please have safe sex and stay out of the mess that comes along with having sex so early. You might consider being open with your mother, disclose the fact you are sexually active. Teens who tend to be open usually udon't sneak around and go through less risky behavior, reducing the chance of sexual related nightmares. Also, you can be treated by the family physician, save money, time, and stay witih someone you trust for years to come.

The gynecologist will know whether or not your hymen has been ruptured, but would not know whether it ruptured from having sex or from some other activity. You need to be honest with your doctor about being sexually active; the purpose of your visit is to monitor and maintain your reproductive health and your doctor needs to know whether screening for STDs should be a part of that, what form of birth control you are using, etc... The doctor cannot discuss your private information with your parents.

Wait till you're 100% particular that you're pregnant.... and then tell him. with slightly of success he will be there and assist you all the way. even with if evidently you at the on the spot are not, i imagine you could talk with him, you want readability and understanding about your courting and destiny. in case you extremely desire a courting with this guy you truthfully are unlikely to get it through giving him a pretend powerful. one in each of two issues will ensue, he will both sense like you tried to seize him through mendacity or he will commit yet will in no way extremely believe you. locate out for your self. when you're, you want to substantiate what's precise for you, become independent from him. purely because he's conscious of, would not assure a daddy on your infant...per chance only a baby help examine & not continuously even that. once you do tell him, tell him remember of factly with out strings. supply it to him as an FYI. tell him that you would delight in his help through the being pregnant. previous that you could not ask for what someone isn't prepared to grant. he will both choose to guy as a lot as his responsibility or he received't. yet a being pregnant received't solidify a courting.

Yes she can tell weather or not you are a virgin. but she also cannot disclose that information to your parents without your permission. While you are there ask about birth control. you dont need to get pregnant.

Yes, the doctor can tell if you have had sex, because your hymen (cherry) is no longer there.
