In 7th grade, you're not ready to "go steady" -- so go out with both of them! Go out with the best guy friend and enjoy his company, and when the far-away guy comes to town go out with him. That's why there's a difference between dating and marriage.

SEVENTH GRADE? First of all, you shouldn't be worried about guys at such a young age. You need to concetrate on your education, which is the most important part of growing up. If you start to get involved with boys then you will start neglecting your priorities. When I was a child, (I'm 35) I didn't even THINK about boys until I was in high school. Take my advice, go to school, concentrate on getting good grades, go to college and get a good job. When you are independent, the men will be falling at your feet.
Continue being friends with both of them. The best relationships come from friendships.

Yeah, u risk messing things up.
Think about it... are you going out with this guy, cuz the other is far away? Is it easier?
Consider ur feelings towards the long distance guy and pay notice when you heart flutters the most! This or the other??
Besides, ur risk loosing a good friend over it... but sometimes u cant see whats right under ur nose too

Oh to be your age again, No thanks.
Anyway, at your age, dating, or going out, isn't serious, it should just be for fun.
As one boy is far away, and you can't do anything with him, stick to your best friend., who is close to you.
It shouldn't screw things up, if you just take it, casually. Go to the movies, parties, etc. Enjoy yourself, that's what being your age is all about.
If you feel he is getting too serious, and you don't want to go that way. He's your friend, just let him know, that you aren't comfortable with that yet.
So still be good friends, and go out and have fun together, and still keep your other friend, in your life.
You needn't lose either of them.

tell him you arent cool with a long distance relationship, and that you still want to be friends with him. tell him you can both hang out when he is out here.
also, stop dating all together, it will just make 7th grade a bigger pain in the butt for you! waite till high school!

Hormones are a bit#$%, doesn't it?, 13 years old and already getting you in trouble, you shouldn't to deal with that dilemma so early in your life, say no to both of them, you are too young, ask your mom.
