If you ever come home from work kind of depressed, get on here and read liberal "stuff".
I love it. Cheers me up and makes me laugh.
Their conspiracy theories are hilarious.
Even a child can see through them, but it's believable "stuff" to liberals.
Liberals make life fun for us all.

I am neither a liberal or conservative, strictly speaking. I think picking one side will ensure you are on the WRONG side of an issue at least 50% of the time. That being said, there are plenty of things the administration did and didn't do in the days before and after 9/11 that require some direct examination.
The irony is, our entire world runs on oil. So we are beholden, unfortunately, to the providers of this commodity. And when SOME of those providers find it in their infinite wisdom to support or bribe radical elements within their nations, with petro-dollars, used to conduct terrorism AGAINST US (imagine that!), there is a definite disconnect, amongst the people and our government, between what is good for us in the near term vs. the long term.
The Saudis have received a pass for WAY TOO LONG. It was only natural that the U.S. tired of negotiating with or suffering the self-absorbed market manipulations of some of these Islamic oil producers. Our country runs on oil, we need it, at least for now, and to secure the flow of oil and oil products to the U.S. economy, the nation took steps it needed to take.
That being said, a lot of the mumbo jumbo around Al Qaeda and Iraq and the Bushes/Bin Ladens, etc etc. It would be more soothing to the nation to say that we are beholden to the Saudis for some oil, and in return the Saudis are beholden to their imams and mullahs who can in an instant turn on the Saudis and regress that nation back to the 17th century, but refrain from this, for now, due to Saudi financing of radical madrassas, and that because we are so reliant on oil, we should get comfortable with the fact that oil money leads to terrorism (direct link), just like we are comfortable with the fact that drug money leads to civil crime (even more direct link).
Americans are not stupid, but maybe they prefer to hear these voices in their heads that put the blame where they think it should be rather than where it really does reside.
We all drive cars, eat food, wear clothes, buy electronics, etc etc. all things that USE OIL. Until we take personal responsibility and refuse to use these products (or demand organic transport of our organic foods and clothing), then the true supporter of terrorism becomes the American consumer. Now, if we dry up the Middle East's oil revenue, will terrorism end? NO WAY. There is immense wealth in these states, albeit concentrated, and there is rampant terrorism. The prospect of terrorism in the Middle East when oil revenue dries up is frightening. Which is why the danger must be confronted now, in parallel with a weaning off of oil, in developing these nations as global competitors on a democratic/capitalist platform (sounds like the Iraqi invasion a bit, doesn't it?).
Conspiracies are for lazy people. There may be things the government tells us half of or none of or tells us the complete opposite. Who cares? The truth is no one in America is willing to go back 50 years in progress to reduce oil use to a level where terrorism funding goes dry. So now oil has a premium (war expense) so that we get the oil and get rid of the terrorism at the same time. It just costs us more. If we want it to cost less, the long and hard road to that terrorism-free world (at least for a while) is the exclusive use of alternative fuels in everyday life at affordable prices. Til then, we cannot complain about efforts by our government to secure oil, it's just freakin' hypocritical.

Care to expand on this and share what statistics you have that say that all liberals believe in conspiracy theories? Or was this question just a product of the voices in your own head? Typical close minded, stereo typing conservative response.

Alot of people don't realize this but the number one export of
the U.S. is movies, so I would watch it bashing Hollywood.
I must agree with MasterJack, it's a conscience. I don't see
questions like this from liberals. You're just plain mean.
You mean there are liberal questions like this one? Sweet.

Not sure; But Bush has mentioned several times "That was my inside voice" when he miss spoke at a press conference.
Raging internal dialog is a sign of mental instability. President Bush might be suffering from a disorder relating to Cocaine abuse when he was younger.

Alex Jones is the #1 democratic conspiracy theorist.. you know, he is that talk radio guy that believes everything is a conspiracy.
FYI, he hates liberals. I listened to him a few weeks and he kept attacking liberals so I stopped.
So maybe you should educate yourself before you ask a question that shows your lack of knowlege about what you are talking about.

Yes, it's called the voice of reason and compassion. I don't what conservatives hear but it must be a dark dark voice to have them kill and hate so much.
