well actually one guy has gone like .000000003 seconds into the future or something like that. so yea its possible.

It depends on what kind of time travel that you want to know about.
Traveling forward in time is possible because if you travel at a high speed (a significant fraction of the speed of light), you will age slower and think slower. If you go fast enough, you may feel that a year was five minutes. Everything will be slowed down about you. Your speech, reaction time, heart beat. Although there is also something else. The faster you go, the more the accelerated motion will do to create gravity. If you go fast enough. You might be crushed under the force of gravity. However, traveling back is completly impossible since entropy cannot reverse. In case you do not know what entropy is, it is defined as disorder. A more recent definition defines as as the dispersal of heat. Nothing with additional entropy can exist in the past because that will mess up the whole universe. It doesn't matter if do anything, are seen, how long you are there, or even if you are alive. What matters is that you exist in that time. Entropy follows the one way arrow of time. That is only so because in turn the arrow of time follows the increase of entropy. As Stephen Hawking wrote in "A Brief History of Time", "You can't have a safer bet than that!" Because of that, everytime you clean the house, you house gets even more less clean. According to the old definition that is.

Time travel (like the movie "Back to the Future") is not exactly possible. Einstein's theory is that if you travel near the speed of light, time is slowed. So if you went on a trip for one hour at the speed of light, when you return (1 hours later for you), 50 years could have passed for everyone else.

I think time travel is possible. Naturally forward time travel is quite easy you only need to find a way to sleep with now aging or very little. Backward is harder, we have to break a few laws of physics to do that, If you could make your way to another universe where time runs backwards from ours and stayed there for a while then perhaps that would be one way.
If it has been developed I can tell you it is not going to be advertised

If time travel was possible then people would have already been doing it throughout history.
I cannot see how is is plausible, if one went back to change history, then you actually just negated your reason for changing history, because, in the future you no longer need to go back to change history, so you will not go back, but then you would need to go back in time, etc....get it?
By scientific theory, anything going faster than the speed of light does go back in time; and I suppose light (or anything else) being sucked into a black hole is therefore going back in time. Of course, if you did this yourself, you would be compressed into a singularity, and probably destroyed before that, so what was left of you wouldn't be too effective when you got there to do anything.

It might be possible in the future, but not in the present time. It has been theorizied that if one were able to travel at the speed of light that time would actually slow down. So, to go faster than the speed of light, time may actually start to move backwards. However I think it would probably be hard to reach the speed of light, much less break it.

Time travel is one thing I know humans will never be able to do very well. I mean, right now we can make tiny nudges into the future by traveling very fast in orbit, and maybe one day we will be able to travel fast enough to travel a significant time into the future (maybe a couple years at best) but we will NEVER be able to travel back in time.

I believe it is possible, but I doubt it has already happened. When it does, the method will be discovered by either corporate, or military scientist, and even if they try to keep it secret, the things they use it for will make it obvious that it is happening.

it's impossible. there are two or maybe more of you in the same time or place maybe? and how we go back to the past or future with traveling time i think some part of our body will be damaged during the proceed. like theory on the movie that is the basic quantum physic. thats only my opinion. no one can be sure of that.

We would've been visited by now or had evidence of time travelers. The all pervasive 2nd Law prohibits time travel.
