I have to do a cartesian diver but now i have to PICK UP A DIME, and i also now have to start at the bottom and float up....but not in the same bottle as the dime..... please help me i need help ASAP !!

Since a dime is nonmagnetic, I hope you pick it up via some existing attachment (eg, a string) to your diver. In this case, and in the case where the diver starts at the bottom, you have to reduce the pressure in the bottle to raise the diver. This means you have to apply a gentle suction (by mouth is easiest) and have a rigid bottle. Since it needs a wide enough mouth to admit the diver, whose size I don't know, you may want to use a wide-mouth jar with a one-hole stopper and attached tube.
If my assumptions are wrong, add some followup details to this question and I'll try again...
