Stress, illness, travel across time zones and other factors can delay your ovulation. Since the post-ovulatory phase of your cycle rarely varies, delayed ovulation means a delayed period. If you know you're not pregnant, you probably don't need to worry about it yet. Likely it will come soon.

You could be stressed out from something...think hard and you will probably come up with something. Something like moving to a different location, studying for a tough test, etc. It could just be that your ovulation has been delayed because of stress. It could be a few days to a few weeks or more before your cycle comes back (if it is due to stress).
Also, if you've changed your diet and exercise like crazy you could stop having a period completely. I've heard of women not having periods for years. It probably takes some time for something like that to happen to a woman.

Sometimes your period doesn't come if you are stressed, or if you have been crash dieting. Also, you only began menstruation three years ago, and sometimes it takes a long time for your periods to become regular. In rare cases, women can still have periods when pregnant, so you should probably take a pregnancy test just to rule out that possibility. In all likelihood this will be negative. I would suggest you visit your doctor if you are worried.

It could be a change in your diet or weight, stress, or a blood disease. Most likely you will get it soon.

There can be many problems causing this. Go to your OBGYN and let them know. Cysts are common reasons.
