a goat might work... but if you got about 4 canada geese it would work a lot better... they nibble grass right down until it's almost like putting green! they are very good at what they do!

the goat might not have enough grass to eat, it will munch on the grass to its roots, thus...an ugly lawn for you....or they will pee on ur grass and u will have polka dotted lawn. You see, cheapness and laziness doesnt always pay. I've seen grassy areas (i grew up in a farm..) with animals tied in a tree....and the place end up to be just ...a patch of brown ground.....u will not like it.... Find other alternatives....

If you are willing to put up with the stink of goat's urine, the need to clean up its excrements every now and then, and other potential problems with the law arising from the complaints of neighbors, then by all means get one.

YOU SHOULD OF PUT CHERAP AND TERMINALLY STUPID WITH A BRAIN ON LIFE SUPPORT THAT DOES NOT WORK ALL THE TIME CAUSE THE ELECTRIC BILL IS NOT PAID . tHEY ARE DIRTY, SMELLY , AND EAT EVERYTHING IN SIGHT SO YOU WON'T HAVE ANY LAWN LEFT . yOU MIGHT LIKE THE GOATS COMPANY AND IF YOU ARE REALLY CHEAP YOU PROBABLY DO NOT BATHE CAUSE WATER COSTS AND YOUR CLOTHES MUST STAND UP BY THEMSELVES WHEN YOU TAKE THEM OFF .
