Since you want to base marriage on ONLY reproduction...
Senior Citizens don't reproduce, we should ban them from marriage as well. Or how about those who are sterile and can't have children - no marriage for them either. Or what about folks that just want to be married but don't want children...I guess their OUT as well.

The fact is Cletus, that Children and animals cannot enter into a legal contract. Nor can inanimate objects for that matter.
And since marriage is a legal institution first and religious second if at all, one has to be able to enter the contract. Children not being of age, cannot. Animals cannot understand so they're exempt either.

I'm not a great supporter of 'gay marriage', but the difference is that gay relationships involve the consent of both parties. Bestiality and pedophilia never involve the consent of both parties, certainly not any legally acceptable definition of consent.

pedophilia is just wrong. i dont see how two men being in love with each other could be compared to a man taking advantage of an underage girl. now go and kiss your pet. how is two men being together on the same level of gross that is?

i dont understand why gay people marrying affects peoples lives so much. gay couples are so respectful and i have never seen one gay couple flaunting it in the streets. but i have seen hundreds of straight people all over each other, even having sex in public.

lets think about an abusive man and an alcoholic woman getting married. they have a child. the child is abused and hated for most of its life up until the father takes off. how do those two people get the right to marry and hurt a child like that, when two gay people who would love a child unconditionally don't?
