EXCUSE!!?? I need an excuse for work...?

Question

where I work they give you these point type things called occurrances. well we have up to 6 total, at 6 you've pointed out and are out of the system. Although I have been with the company for over a year, I am currently at 5.75 with my occurraces, today was my first Tuesday at school and I was supposed to be at work at 5, well my class ran long and I can't show up to work late because that would give me an occurrance and put me over and so I just didnt go, but now I need an actual physical excuse to turn in tommorrow to be excused....any ideas?

You were in a terrible car accident, you were riding in someone else's car - worst case they ask for a police report - but you could get any report for that day, since your name (not your car and you weren't driving) may not be listed in the report.

Your mother/father had a terrible accident (heart attack / stroke / car accident) that landed them in the hospital emergency room. It was so serious that they are still in intensive care. You can't use cell phone in a hospital and pay phone are hard to find so you could not call in.
