First we need to know if it's Hard Drive Disk Space you're running out of or Sdram Memory, which are two totally different situations. If your hard drive is getting filled up, you can easily go to the control panel, add/remove programs, and remove some of the old programs and games and things that you are no longer using. Other games and programs, you may have on cd so you can use the program straight from the cd whenever you'd like and therefore wont need to copy everything from the cd to your hard drive (taking up unnecessary space.) Watch out for the "jpg" suggestion. These may be images you WANT to keep. Do you save digital photographs on your computer?
You can also burn other files you want to keep onto a CD or DVD. Save them this way so you can safely delete them from your hard drive.
Always a good idea to clean things up. Makes your whole system speed up.

Yeah, go into Disk Cleanup and follow their recommendations.. also, make sure you clean all your caches, cookies, and so forth..
and, even if you do it nightly, shut down the puter, for the night, after it closes down, pull the plug from the back of the computer and then press and hold the on/off switch for about ohhh, 60 seconds, then, afterwards, in the morning, plug your puter back in and then reboot. It WILL help.

Are you speaking of memory or disk space?
To free up disk space, delete your temporary internet files.
To free up memory, Hit ctrl-Alt-delete, select task manager, and click on the processes tab. You may need to look up these programs on google to see which ones are important to you or not. If there are programs that are not important to you or your computer system, click end process.

You can delete any program files that you have already deleted from control panel. (C:\Program Files) Run Disk Cleanup (Start\All Programs\Accesories\System Tools\Disk Cleanup) Or Disk Defragmenter (In the same menu as disk cleanup). Hope this helps
