I bought a pair of curtains and they need to be ironed? Can I do that at home, or do i have to dry clean them?

You can steam iron them, just try a corner first to make sure it won't shrivel the fabric. Depending on the fabric and whether or not they are lined, you may also be able to wash them. Mine say dry clean only, but I wash them in cold water and dry them on low. It hasn't wrecked them yet.

I would put them in a warm dryer with a DAMP towel...not too wet tho....I would only press them with a steam press. You might turn your iron on low and put a towel over the curtains and press them like that....I would not put the iron on the curtains tho. they will melt... Good Luck

Are they curtains or drapes? If they are curtains I would probably wash them in cold water, dry them on cool and then iron them. m

Just make sure you don't use steam, and use a low setting.
