I realize I could have mentioned it now that I had to go through all this drama but it never really crossed my mind before.

she doesnt tell or mention to me when she changes her hair style or color and that doesnt bother me.

Well you see you're looking at this all wrong. I don't think she wanted you to talk to her about this because she thought you needed her permission. She knows she's not your mother. She's your wife. And above any other relationship you'll ever have, the husband wife relationship is the ultimate partnership and she would, at the very least, like to have been talked to about this. Probably not to get her approval, but just to be let in on it as it is a life long decision. People just like to be involved in important decisions is all.

hmm. if you were planing on getting the tat all along, you i think you could have mentioned it to her. i dont think you need her permission for this. the only issue i would have is that they can be expensive and if we were strapped for money, then i would probably be upset. otherwise, unless you look like a freak or should not have them if your profession would rather you didnt, i dont see a problem. unless you knew of course that she was adamantly opposed to you getting more tats, and you did it by sneaking, otherwise i think you are in the right. hope it helps....

I don't think she was upset because you got a tattoo, just because you didn't say anything. We women can be funny about that stuff. We think that if we are friends and you should be, that you would tell your friend. Don't look at it like you need permission, just letting her know keeps her invovled in your life. Good luck and tell her you love her and didn't mean to hurt her feelings by leaving her out.

I would probably choose to get a tattoo of the infinite sign with the quote "And in that moment, I swear we were infinite" from a book I read called The Perks of Being A Wallflower. I'd probably put it somewhere around my rib or hip area.

If I were Ur wife or girlfriend,I wont be upset just because of you got a tattoo without telling me...its OK for me...but if you do other things that lead to the crime, that I would be upset...
I think what you done is not wrong....

Yeah, I'd be upset too. I'm sure that your wife understands that it's your choice, but it's nice to let her know that her opinion is important. If I were you, I'd have mentioned it to her the previous day, in casual conversation. It's not that she minds the tattoo necessarily, but she cares that she didn't even get a chance to make her opinion heard.
Hope this helps!

WELL YES U R A GROWN MAN BUT AT THE SAME TIME DO U THINK MAYBE SHE FELT THAT W/SOMETHING LIKE THAT U SHOULD HAVE AT LEAST MENTIONED TO HER THAT U WERE THINKING ABOUT GETTING IT? SHE MAY HAVE WANTED TO BE A PART OF THAT W/U HELP U DECIDE ON WHAT TO GET. NOT THAT U SHOULD ASK CAN U GET ONE BUT U R MARRIED DON'T U GUYS TALK AT ALL?

MY MAN AND I TOOK A BREAK ON OUR RELATIONSHIP AND HE CHOOSE TO GO GET A TATTOO BECAUSE NOW HE WAS FREE. WELL WE ARE TOGETHER AGAIN AND I HATE THAT STUPID TATTOO IT WASN'T HIS FIRST EITHER. I HATE WHAT IT REPRESENTS AND I THINK HE REGRETS GETTING IT. (NOT BECAUSE I HATE IT.)
I WOULD WANT HIM THERE WHEN I GO TO GET ANOTHER TATTOO.

Dude you ain't wrong. It's just that your women would like to be part of your life as well.

Now and again women would like to be kept in the know of things.

You never know maybe she would have been proud to choose the tribal band thats on your arm.

All good mate, she'll get over it.

No you are not wrong! I wouldn't care if my fiance got a tat and didn't tell me. After all he is a grown men. Tell her that you didn't realize that you were still a kid and needed her permission. LOL no but really that is not a big deal
