It's a typical Sky offer!
You still have to pay BT for the line rental and although they have to be better than BT Broadband, why don't you go for someone with great support or good speed such as NTL/Telewest if available.
I for one won't be changing

It's only cheaper than others on the surface, as you have to subscribe to the TV package as well, It uses the telephone line, so it's speed is restricted to the capacity and distance of the telephone line, 8 Meg pos but in reality it only runs at 2meg if the distance form the bt exchange is miles away like My connection is

are you reffering to Sky Connect by any chance. as my friend has asked about that and he says that it still comes through your phone line, not via satallite. which sounds stupid really. But the normal Sky Broadband i am waiting to get in my area which i will be instantly signing up for. As BT is rubbish.

BT is the ideal in each element, except for cost,I had talktalk, what a nightmare.BT technical help is mind-blowing,also BT run each and each of the exchanges meaning you keep suitable each and each of the time.quite some broadband companies can't get their kit to paintings precise in BTs exchanges, thats why human beings have issues.
