One could say Brazil, but it is a Portuguese colony and they predominately speak a dialect of Portuguese, but Spanish is also widely spoken. Brazil, is almost 3,300,000 square miles and it has population of about 188,100,000.

Ok, you mean South America, not Latin America, so Mexico is out in terms of population. Brazil, the largest in land mass, population and GDP is primarily a Portuguese speaking country.

That leaves Argentina in terms of land mass, economy, and population.

Are we talking population or geographical size wise? I'd guess Argentia. Brazil is bigger in both regards but they speak Portugese there.
