I have a list of songs about people who where/are very famous in their professions, listed below. Can you name the title of each song, the artists who performed them and the famous people whom they are about? Some are not as obvious as they may seem:
AN ARCHITECT
A HUMAN RIGHTS ACTIVIST
A BOXER
AN ACTRESS (hint: this song is not Candle in the Wind!)
A PAINTER
TWO CRIMINALS
A SINGER
Wanna give it a go? 10 points to whoever gets closest!

True, a few could have more than one answer. That's why you get the points for getting "close" to my list! :o)

OK people, here's my list:
AN ARCHITECT – So Long Frank Llyod Right – Simon and Garfunkel
A HUMAN RIGHTS ACTIVIST – Nelson Mandela - Mandela Day – Simole Minds
A BOXER - Hurricane – Rubin Carter – Bob Dylan -
AN ACTRESS – Bette Davis Eyes – Kim Carnes
A PAINTER - Vincent – Vincent Van Gogh - Don McLean
A SINGER – Calling Elvis - Elvis Presley - Dire Straits
TWO CRIMINALS – The Ballad of Sacco and Vanzetti – Joan Baez

Not sure why the_all_knowing_maniac feels I should use his questions as a format. Aren't we each entitled to our own style?

Biko - Peter Gabriel
Who Killed Davey Moore - Bob Dylan
Angelina - Billy Bob Thornton (yes, it's a real song...a really truly awful song)
Meet James Ensor - They Might Be Giants

The singer I'm guessing is "You're So Vain" by Carly Simon about James Taylor, the rest I have no clue.

If you ever do a trivia thing again use my old question as an example: http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=Ar_OryRMokWl3iBoRq8UXQjsy6IX?qid=20060821165714AAzipRB
