I know this sounds crazy- but Why do people choose the car they choose? I know for some, if its a used car its the price, but obviously there are several cars in a those price ranges. I only ask this because I see mainly older people driving cars like buick or lincoln And whenever I see a corvette its driven by an OLD person or ugly person LOL and everytime i see a jeep the driver is good looking. IS this just coincidence or is there something about a person that draws them to a certain type of vehicle. Do you believe your car says something about you? What do you drive and why?

Well, I think some brands are stereotyped. Lincoln and Buick are associated with older people. Jeep is a younger persons vehicle, it is made for offroading. The next car I buy is going to be a Pontiac Solstice, and I'll get that next year. I think your car can say something about you. Not that is it a good thing, but it is a way of letting people know how wealthy you are. I'm only choosing the Solstice because its nice and its not a bad price. I've always wanted a small sports car though. Corvettes are driven by only those who can afford them. So older people can afford them, and how many old people do you find attractive? lol. I think a car can also show personality. If you have a sports car I think you may like to have everything go at a faster pace, Buick people like things slower, and Jeep people are probably more adventurous and outgoing. Oh, and I currently drive a 2001 Pontiac Grand Am GT. It looks cool, can go fairly fast. I like it.

I am not a soccer mom so I drive a trailblazer with all the bells and whistles for my two active boys
I have a 74 bug for fun
I used to drive a FireBird and an IROC and loved, loved, loved my Jeep Wranglers....but I'm a mom now and practicality wins out.

It's their preference. I've seen some not so good looking people driving a jeep, and young people driving a corvette..
I drive a convertible. Why? Because I like it. I've also had two trucks. Why? Because I liked them.

vehicles like pets are an expression of their owners, you by a Miata to show how sporty and agile you are, a hummer to brag about how wealthy you are etc.
