I'm thinking of buying a Kelty backpack. Are they any good? Do they fall apart easilly? Are there ever any problems with the zippers?

PS. I know this isn't a normal question for this category, but I couldn't find another category that this question fit into.

Yes, they are good backpacks. Lifetime warrantied (against flaws, not wear & tear). One of the few companies to still make high quality external-framed BPs in addition to lots of internal-framed options.

For daypacks for daily use, even the best wear out (usually the zippers) after a few years of daily use. For backpacks for overnight trips, I'd expect about 200 days of use before it starts needing repairs.

Available at REI stores and at www.rei.com(which also has a great refund/return policy).
