You cannot fakely activate windows xp home edition. AFAIK, Microsoft keeps track of every license issues and track them. so you cannot fakely activate windows xp.

I'd work on your spelling and grammar first, fakely is not a word (if you are not a native english speaker then simply consider this a learning experience). And to answer your question, that is illegal, though others can feel free to give you a solution, I will not. You could try to explain your situation, for example if your current installation is broken, I would suggest you get the Serial Key reset tool from Microsoft, though I have as yet been unable to find the link, there are various other methods for doing so, provided you already have a legitimate key, if you don't, then I cannot and will not help you.

You can install it you cant activate it. but when you are asked to enter a key for activation and it is declined there is a phone number to call when you talk to some Buddy and mostly you talk to some Buddy from over seas tell them you had to format and couldn't activate. most of the time they give you a kyee number.
