The .5% is equivalent to $1450.00. The .05% is equivalent to $145.00. If you have both documented I would say you may have a case for the higher amount, but if most recent document you signed is the one that states .05% that is what they are probably going to pay you. Most of the time these agreement say that the company has the right to change to bonus structure with no warning. Always be care when signing something like this you have the right to review the document and even to have it reviewed by council in most states.

First of all .5% is 0.005 * 290,000=1,450
On the second question you say 0.05% (0.0005) of the bonus. Maybe you meant bonus, maybe you didn't but if so, you did not list the bonus factor. If you meant of sales then the answer is:0.0005*290000=145. Add this ,if that's how the contract says, =1,450+145=1,595
Hope this helps

.05% of $290,000 is $14,500. I highly doubt any company would hire you with a .5% commission. That means you would get half of what you make in commission. .05% is much more reasonable.

First solve for 0,5 %

0.5 ÷ 100 = 0.005 decimal equivalent

.005 x 290000 = 1450

The answer is your commision is $ 1450.00
