When they spend more time picking out clothes and styling their hair and POSING on stage looking pretty than playing their guitars then, they are posers, pretending to be something they obviously are not. Were the Sex Pistols pretty? Black Flag?
NO they sure as h*ll were not.
I remember when punk was about an attitude of rebellion and hate, not playing sped up pop songs as fast as you could.
Anfprep 102 do you think bands like Discharge or The Vandals ever went to awards shows like your precious F.O.B. ?
Do you think The Vibrators would have ever got invited on Nickelodeon like Green Day?
NO because they were dangerous and they pi$$ed everyone off just being who they were and more importantly DID NOT CARE
Have you ever heard of these bands? They were real Punk.

FOB and P!ATD are not posers, i hate to say it but good charlotte kind of is, i really like their music but they act all tuff and punk, if that makes any sense.

Its your opinion!!! Some loser who juss answered listed F.O.B., P!atd, A.A.R., & a bunch of other bands as posers .. wtf are they posing as ?? If you like Avenged Sevenfold & Good Charlotte or w.e bands you like then umm.. you like them! The whole poser thing is screwed up anyway .. it sucks when a band you've liked since forever gets popular but thats no reason to hate the band .. if they make good music MTV finds it. Poser is a lame word lol
