Apply hot moist compresses so the infection comes to the surface and erupts itself. It may take quite a number of applications, but keep it up so that it doesn't go further under the skin and get worse. I microwave a wet washcloth for the purpose.

I had one a couple months ago, I bought that stye cream which doesn't work. Here's what I did, I had filled a container with hot water and had a washcloth and held it on the the sty and kept dipping it in the hot water and putting it back on the sty. I did this for 30 minutes to an hour each day, it went away in like 3 days.

Don't fool around with your eyes, you only get one set to last you a life...DUH! go to the doctor.
Antibiotic pills and creams may be nessesary. In the mean while DON'T touch. And buy some lysol to spray things like keyboards and door handles so you don't re infect yourself once you get beter.
Change your pillow case everyday, and switch to drying your face with papertowels until you are healed (so you don't contaminate the regular towel)

Hot compresses 4 times daily for a week. If it isn't gone by then or gets bigger, see an Ophthalmologist, not an optometrist. Opthalmologists are real Physicians and Surgeons, optometrists are not.

Place a very warm damp washcloth over your eye. The combination of heat and moisture may help it go away.

My mother n law works for an eye doctor. She recommends warm/hot wash rags.....if you do that for awhile it will go away "pop" on its own... no need to waste your money for the doctor - I have gotten them for years and never had to have medicine for them.
