Shiraz, SHUT UP! They don't even know that Bush isn't running. You want to ruin the cake walk?
The Democrats want to make this country what it once was before. A barren tundra covered with ice.

The sad truth is that the Dems don't have the publicity machine behind them that Dubyuh and company have. On top of that, the increasingly rare mental disorder known as a conscience has limited their effectiveness in spreading fear and lies to sway the pubic opinion in their favor. They don't have the Religious Right to pass their propaganda to the uneducated and to keep the masses ignorant and fearful. Sadly, without those tools at their disposal, it's an uphill battle. Examine Rummie's statement today that fascism unchecked is akin to the tolerating the Nazis of Germany (quoting, leave Godwin out of this one):
"He quoted Winston Churchill as observing that trying to accommodate Hitler was 'a bit like feeding a crocodile, hoping it would eat you last.'
'I recount this history because once again we face similar challenges in efforts to confront the rising threat of a new type of fascism,' he said."
Pot...kettle...black?

It's by his own words that if we are to correct the fascism that is emerging today, we can't stop and simply tolerate Dubyuh and company and just let their injustices be. Sadly, without the weapons of mass distraction at the Dems' disposal, it's an uphill battle and all it appears as "blaming Bush, bashing Bush, and hating on Bush?"

I keep telling them that very thing. Bush is bad is not a platform for president or senate or representative. The problem is we need two strong parties, and the Dems have no platform except the one FDR made in the 30's, which is not correct except for a major depression.
Libs are a passing fad. Seriously.
A study showed libs have 147 kids for 100 libs, and conservatives have 208 kids for 100 cons.
Liberals believe in abortions, so they are literally killing themselves off. Good job, dummies!
Our society is thus swinging towards the cons at the rate of 0.5 percent a year.
Rush said he might be forced to change his mind on abortion if it means the libs are killing themselves off. I took it as a sick joke.
Anyway, the next Democrat president will be the last one ever. But, especially so if we get another do-nothing president like Clinton who does nothing when terrorists tried to blow up the WTC the first time, and we get a city nuked.
I hope we don't get a city nuked, but if we do get a city nuked it's a liberal city so we don't lose anyone important. Hee, hee.

I doubt the Bush bash is all to do with the democrates. It appears to be an age thing mostly. The young have never seen war and fear conscription. The talking heads don't help, they all have an agenda too. I hear a lot of confusion out there in Bushland. Who have the Reps got to run? No one to point fingers at yet. I only hope all the noice is an indication that all these wildly unhappy people will go out and vote next election. They don't seem to think their vote counts. Well, this is the result, is it not?.Hell, you could have had Gore. Now isn't that a scary something to contemplate? So my point is get out and vote at the primaries.

Well, if you take a President whom doubles the National Debt from 4 Trillion to over 8 Trillion in 5 years; when the previous President actually balanced the National Budget for 4 straight years (first time since 1969) and the interest on this debt has to be paid out of the National Budget every year; thereby, reducing the amount of funds that can go for National Security, Armed Forces, Health Care, Education, Basic Research, Food Safety, ect. If this person was running your school system, your corporation, your city government, would you re-elect or re-appoint a person to the same position if they couln't manage a budget and were only mortgaging the future for the rest of the community beyond a few well-placed friends? If being a democrat means being fiscally responsible (something Republicans can no longer claim after being vocerifious about being fiscal conservatives for decades), if being a Democrat means that I want health care costs to decrease even while we continue to enhance availability and efficiency, if being a Democrat means I value clean water, air, beautiful forests, deserts, safe food; if being Democrat means I want to ensure that my children and my children's children's have the means for an affordable college education; if being Democrat means that I'm tolerent of all peoples of all faiths, races and gender perference, that we are all equal under the law and that unjust laws are changed for the betterment of all and not enforcing a certain belief or cultural norm on all of us, then hell, yes I'm proud to be a democrat because our future doesn't belong to the political posturing of the wealthiest Republicans controlling the masses by social arguments while they laugh at the masses all the way to the bank. Being Liberal is definitely not Anti American, actually, being Liberal is a strong Pro America and a belief that America needs changes to keep it dynamic and the leader of the free peoples of the world for generations to come. Much less freedom at home whom would force their own ultra conservative fascist beliefs on the rest of us while keeping a blind eye to the fiscal malfeasence of the current administation.

I'll tell you what it's time for, to stop trying to have an intelligent conversation with you. You posted some good questions the other day of which I answered all with viable solutions, even being a democrat! I see all you really want to do is to continue to spew childish rhetoric and trash people who don't think like you. Maybe one of these days you'll grow up and join the adult world.

No, if the shoe fits wear it. Bush is to blame for too much - his response to just about everything is not enough and wrong. Take the war in Iraq (please!) it was not necessary, no WMD's we weren't greeted with flowers and praise, every reason that he offers for it is a proved to be wrong. The domestic front is no better. The slow and small response to Katrina and other Hurricanes, The Anti-Stem cell research stance (why SAVE lives), and on and on.......

Why, do you actually think there's a chance that another Republican will be elected? You don't have to hate Bush to see that there will be a change over.
