If the President of the USA makes $400k per year, how much does the UK Prime Minister make? How about the Prime Minister of Japan?
I'm just curiuos how the salaries of different world leaders compare. Obviously, the perks are a whole different story. But, the salary is at least something tangible to compare.

Thank you for those who are supplying helpful and specific information. I didn't intend for this question to be a heated discussion. I was just curious about what other world leaders are being paid.
By the way, I know my facts re: the US President's salary. It is $400k + perks. Bill Clinton signed a bill before he left office, raising the salary from $200k per year to $400k. It became effective after he left office.

You can generally find answers to such cut-and-dried questions by going to Yahoo or Google and searching for two or three terms---e.g.:
"u.s. president" salary
(That's what I did in this case.)
It's funny---the way you phrased your question, it sounded like you expected there to be actual _relationships_ between the salaries of the U.S. president, UK prime minister, and so on. (That's what the "if/then" format usually means.) Of course there isn't; each leader's pay is determined by their individual countries's laws.
BTW, U.S. presidents are always wealthy people (you have to be, to have the power and influence to reach that position) whose investment income far outweighs their presidential salaries. And once they leave office, they make a ton of extra dough from consulting and speaking fees, which again dwarfs their former salary.
For these people, being president isn't really about the salary. It's about power (oh, and occasionally, having a chance to actually do the right thing---as long as the big businesses don't mind too much).

not for any political motives, yet Quincy (John Quincy Adams) or Grover (Grover Cleveland) are good dogs names. Plus, Cleveland served 2 nonconsecutive words...he saved coming back. even with you do do not do what Obama did and call the dogs after your self like he did with Bo (Barack Obama's initials), fairly tackles.

I don't know, but it should be directly correlated with their worth as a leader (or non-worth).
