especially those that give away stuff.....I've even given up on entering competitions because i just never win, not even those that give away feebies like groceries.
I used to fill in entries, cut them out and post or email them, but GEEZ.....I neva won......

lol i always lose too. it sucks and i totally feel ya. i can never win anything! and you wanna know something completely pathetic? when someone buys me a lottery ticket (cuz i'm only 15) i always lose. my mom would get my little sister and brother tickets too and they always won! and my sister was only firggin 5! and my brother is now 13 and we've been doing this for like 2 years. so i noticed that my sister and them ppl always won so i tricked my little sister into giving me her card and she sould have mine. but she still friggin won! and i lost! everytime! never any $ for me! lol so yea... i hope that makes you feel a little better to know that i cant even win on lttery tickest but my baby sister and little brother can! lol AND my sister can even beat me up sometimes! little kids are vicious! lol byes

I've won lots of stuff. When I was a kid, I won a contest for a whole box of Wham-O toys---a Frisbee, a Slip 'n' Slide, a Water Wiggle... (Well, I'm dating myself.)
As an adult, I've won a seven-foot rowboat in a discount-store drawing. But I probably won it because, while I waited at the customer-service counter for them to verify my credit application, I passed the time by stuffing the entry jar with entry slips. (Hey, I had to do something!)
I've won a kid-size electric car for my young son. I've won computer parts (though never an entire computer). I've won free books, office supplies, and other stuff I could probably remember if I stopped to think about it.
I don't suggest cheating (as I probably did with the rowboat). Just enter as many contests as you can. When you see a contest, enter it. It's the law of averages: Sooner or later, you'll probably win something. There's no secret. The more you enter, the more chances you have.
Of course some contests have entry fees (lotteries, charity sweepstakes for new homes, etc.). In my opinion, that's more like actual gambling, so I can't give you any advice about that.
Sorry for the lack of a magic wand. Just keep playing, and see it as fun, rather than expecting to win. That's the best advice I can give you.

It's not just you. I'm 20 and I've never won anything either. My sister use to win stuff off the radio all the time! Bugged the hell out of me! Then my old roommate use to win EVERYTHING she ever tried for...she once won a superbowl thing the radio station was doing and won a 56inch plasma TV, all sorts of football stuff, a new sterio, and tickets to the game. Made me sooooo mad. But don't worry...it's not just you. I never even won coloring contests...

I have won a few and lost many, that's better than some people do.
I've won tickets to concerts but given then away.
I've lost silly contests but been awarded scholarships.
I've won a huge stuffed rabbit for being the 100th kid to walk in the door but never had more than two numbers in the lottery in 12 years.
It's luck, it's statistics, it's attitude.

I've won several competitions, but those were in events which I personally invested time, effort, and plenty of sweat. I've lost 'em too, but then again, that's not what you really mean I don't think.
I'm of the opinion that the odds against someone winning anything in a 'free' drawing, 'pay' lottery, etc.....are too astronomical for me to waste time with personally.

its luck if they actualluy pick people....normally they dont.....not that ive ever one......my freid once won tickets to a movie from a radio show that nobody listens too anymore
