(by engaved, I mean that it looks burned in.)The long dresser has an engraved tree and fence on the top of the mirror, that dresser as a picture engraved of a "water mill". The tall dresser has a horse and buggy, and there is nothing on the night stand.

Look on the bottom of the furniture. Might find it there. Also the inside-front of the drawers, the bottom and sides. m

Find an antique dealer who knows about old furniture. they may be able to ID by the way it was made, type of wood used and general shape.

There may be a label on the back side or on the bottom of one of the drawers.

have you looked for a stamp under the drawers or the dresser it self, sometimes they are stamped there!

take out the drawers and look at the back of them or under them. one will usually have the manufacturer.

If I were you I would take it to an antique dealer they would be able to tell you.

well you should ring your local antiques dealer and see what they say, they should be able to tell you who made it.
