I wanted to tell you not to listen to those people who say just cause you're gay you're going to hell! THAT IS NOT TRUE! God loves each and every single one of you cause you are his kids!!! Dont listen to the negativity and hatred...it's not true....I'm not gay, i'm straight and a roman catholic...i just wanted to let you know some religious people still love you and are there for you!

I really appreciate the sentiment, and the fact that you put in the effort to express it.
Me, I'm 42 and have known I was gay from a very young age, I just chose to explore a spirituality that affirmed my life rather than follow a group that preaches hatred of any kind. I completely believe in God, I also believe that most religious people have the wrong idea about it. I'm glad they are persuing a spiritual path, I think it's the right one, I just wish they would seek more truth and less judgement. A saying I like is that most religions are like rivers to the ocean, some take a long time to get there. I chose instead to go to the beach.
Short version of above paragraph - I've chosen not to accept other's judgements of my life.

well thank you for your support and the ability to see the light..... We wish all people could just love and have equal rights.. Not just gay/lesbian/ bi /transgender.... Everyone .....
And no Chelsie,,, everyone on here doesn't "no believe in God" we just all might have our different beliefs... We don't need a religion or church to know we are loved by god......
But I have an idea... Shalane/ and Chelsie-- Could you imagine how big your congregation would be if gays/ lesbian/ bi/ transgenders were accepted with open arms? The world needs more people like the two of you... XOXOX

The MCC, Metro Community Church, with church's all over the US (not sure about outside the US), is a church who's ministry is the gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgendered children of God.

I'm straight and a Christian and I agree w/ you but not all gays, lesbians, and bisexuals belive in God. And its not only some religious people that dislike them its a whole bunch of people religious or not. And its lesbian not lezbien.
