Yes, depending on his maturity level, I'd say midnight or so. When I was 17 I was allowed out until ten on weeknights and midnight on the weekends.

In general yes he should. I also feel if he is a good kid and ask for a little more time on occasions then he should be trusted. On school nights the curfew should be strict with very little tolerance.

No.. he should know better what is good fir him... and he should be learning to make his own decisions now...to be ready to become a real man.. I am 17, and I do not have a curfew.

Yes and it should be 11 p.m. on weekdays and 1 am on weekends. That's only if he's a good boy, stays out of trouble and makes good grades in school. If he's not doing those things, it's straight to school and back home again.

do you really have to ask. Off course, after everything at night closes down, kids have nothing to do but to get in trouble. A little common sense goes a long way
