someboddy said this to me today and i do not undershtan it. what does it meen? how can one hand posibley make a sound? i am confussed.

That's the point of the question: to clear your mind of all conscious thought. Doesn't work for me, though, as I can make one hand 'clap' by hitting the palm with my fingers.
A better one is: 'If a tree falls in a forest and no-one's around to hear it, does it make a sound?' That one gets me every time.
