Go to either CompUsa or Staples and purchase McAfee QuickClean for Windows. This software can clear the history of websites visited.

There's a good program called Hyper Wiper that covers all your tracks.. you can even choose to have it make a "dummy" history instead of leaving the PC obviously wiped clean. It does a good job of cleaning all logs, hidden files, internet history etc. I use it all the time. You may want to download it.

usually there would be a clock or something that simbolizes history
if not then go to tool
then scroll down to options
click on the tab that says history and then clear history

go to the start up menu and click on search then they in the word cookies, and all the files in there should be the websites youve been to. in mine i do not delete the one called index because one time i did it and lost my internet connection

If you really want to clean your history correctly, go to http://www.download.com and download "Clean Disk Security". It's free and works great,,,I use it everyday, it's safe to use...hope this helps.

start - Programs - accessories - system tools - disk cleanup.
Then if you wish you can also change your settings for how long to keep visited pages in history.
