not so much a high more a satisfaction, i get that out of a lot of things, you think thats wierd , well i get this thing that i have with squares and everything being cubed, some say its a compulsive disorder but ive done this since i was 0!!!! The worst is when i see something square mostly windows i scan across it with my eyes almost in a painting way, you know when you paint a fence or clean a window with a squegee, as i get to the bottom there is always a gap left as i try to cover it it has an effect like a highlight marker, you know where if you go over a part twice it goes stronger. because of this i end up with different layers of density(wierd i know) as i try to correct it the density gets more and more uneven until my head just cracks up!!!!!! I used to do this when i was a kid!!! bloody mental!
The worst was when i would get on a bus and the seats where chequered and full of tiny squares, my head would just freak!!!!!! wierd msn!! i cant believe ive just revealed this for people to read lol.

Never made me high but your question does bring back memories. Had to hustle when a storm was brewing in Georgia before all the diapers got soaked. In Korea the icicle statue- like forms slammed against the balcony railing during windy nights. Bright summer days in Missouri, my daughter and the neighbor girls used the hanging sheets for wedding veils or to hide in and all I could see was 6 or 7 different shades of brown feet. Oh the memories of the wash blowing in the wind. Is that what you mean?

I wouldnt say a high, but yes it is peaceful to watch it, but I love the way ppl lived a long time ago....The old fashion way. Life was better then and not a fast paced life. Seeing laundry on the line reminds me of those days when I was a child.

I usually don't hang out anything but sheets b/c
clothes & towels come out better in the dryer.
I don't know about high, but it's kind of peaceful to sit in the swing for a few minutes & watch them billow in the wind. Also. they smell great.

I do. I can sit and watch my laundry blowing in the wind all day long. I also am in love with the smell of my clothes when dry.

I've never done this or seen this. But it sounds like it would be sort of serene, but I don't think I'd get a high. But then again it matters on what kind of high you are talking about.

That's called self-hypnosis. Whether it's laundry on a line or watching fish in an aquarium, we all do it.

I actually don't hang my clothes on a line, I use a dryer. I guess it would remind me of being a kid, my Grandma used to hang clothes on the line and she would let me help.
