a townhouse is a house that shares a wall with another house, and it's usuall two stories tall, kinda like a brownstone. you know, like the houses that most british people live in, but here in the US.

it's probably easier to ask what city/state do you want to live in. Most all med - lg. cities in the U.S. have brownstones/dueplex/townhouses available to rent or buy.

NYC - probably all five boroughs, definitely Hoboken, NJ also
Boston
Philadelphia
Washington, DC

Perhaps other cities like Baltimore and I am sure there are a lot of smaller towns that have them too. Hell, they're probably all over the country... it was founded by Brits you know.
