I am trying to grow a mango tree, but the fruits while still green on the tree a spliting. Any ideas ?

The tree is about 5 years old and 4 feet high. The fruits are about 4-5 inches and hard, but now split. I think runined.

mangos grow best with lots water, and in the warmer areas
