My grandmother used to make a hot concoction of melted down soap and sugar (as far as I remember) and slap it on poisoned cuts. It hurt but you could watch the poison line come down! My grandmother used this method for her children - pre national health.

Pulpus. From the words "pull" and pus. Apparently a medicine that when applied to an infection on the hands or body draws or pulls out the pus, leaving it on the bandage. I sure wish I knew how to make it or even where to buy it. Many many many years ago it was possible to walk into a drugstore and ask for "Griswald Stick Salve". Taking the outside paper wrap off showed about 5" of a brown, hard substance. One got a clean, folded square of white cloth for bandage, and turned on the gas jet of the kitchen stove (or reasonable facimile), and held the stick over the flame for a few seconds, rubbing the melted substance over the bandage and perhaps getting more. Next one applied it to the infected skin -- not while it is so hot as to harm the person, but not when it was too cold to do any good either. Now apply some adhesive tokeep the bandage on. If the infection was bad one, the salve drew pus out, and on the bandage, and a new bandage with new salve was applied. I don't even know what the ingredients were. Can you share this information?

Simply use bread, salt with hot water to make a dough. Then apply to infected areaa with lint and bandage. Probably will take several applications depending on how severe the infection is. Use a bnearable amount of hot water as this the main ways the infection is drawn out. I hope it works - always has for me and the family.

Best to use yellow lint on the plaster add a bit of soap and sugar and put it on, the yellow lint also helps draw the infection.
Elastoplast tends to have yellow lint on it.
If you start to notice a red line coming away from where the infection is you need antibiotics.
I would only use a poultice for a short period of time if it is going to work it should work in a couple of hours.
Hope this helps. :-)

I suggest you see a Doctor ,as you may end up with a reaction to any home remedies, besides if there is any red or purplish lines near the area you could have a clot [D.V.T.] and that can be dangerous if not detected.
by the way leeches fall off on there own when they are full.

Honey, maybe you should go to the doctor and get some antibiotics. If you don't know exactly what you are doing, you could be putting of some immediate care that you may need.
