I was attending a pro football game recently (Chargers) and while sitting in the stands during a break in the action, the Charger Girls took their places on the sidelines and began their routines. During this time, these three women, who had NO CHANCE of becoming Charger Girls in this life, (BIG y'all....really big!!!) began their speel: "Look at those hootchies....shakin' their asses like sluts just to get attention!!!" I turned around and stated: "Ladies, it sounds like you gotta problem with the cheerleaders." "Hell yeah, we do", they replied, "look at 'em...shaking and prancin' around in their short *** skirts...**** all out." "What the hell do they have to do with the game anyway?" they added. Okay, you've got the info....what do you think? Are the NFL Cheerleaders really an addition to the activities or are they setting women back to being sex objects? Why or why not?

No. I think that people really respect them for their person hood, their inner beauty, and their ability to solve complex differential equations.

Exploited Cheerleaders

No I don't think they are being exploited, in that they are making a living out of something they really enjoy doing. Although they won't be making anything like the footballers are, so maybe they are being exploited in a way. You could argue that the footballers are doing a tougher job this doesn't wash with me, and women footballers aren't making much of a living out of their sport. The ladies who where shouting just sound as though they where jealous, not having the right attributes to do the cheer leading themselves. I think any woman making a good living from any kind of dancing, modeling etc is not being exploited, indeed are they not exploiting the people watching, after all its they who are paying for the privilege. Of course I realize there are a lot of people out there, who are taking more than there fair share in representing these girls, in those cases then they are being exploited.

I believe that when the people decided what these women wear for the games they also need to take in to account that children watch these sports to and they should not see some of these outfits that some of these women wear. I know there are men like my husband who love the cheerleaders but like i said there are children that watch sports too.

Those huge women were just jealous of the shapely sex objects who were the cheerleaders. Simple.

Who's really exploiting who !

Are the cheerleaders exploiting the fans or are the fans exploiting the cheerleaders or better yet...who cares.

Enjoy the game and the show.

i feel that cheerleaders, exotic dancers or any other dancer that fit in that catergory are not being exploited.we as humans have the gift of free will and because of that gift we make choices that some people dont agree with.whether a person is dancing on a sideline, court or in a club that is thier own choice.nobody told them to do it or twisted thier arm.so NO i dont think they are being exploited.they know what they will have to wear for thier routines so if they CHOOSE to wear it that is free will.

Hell, no. We're all still mad at Janet. They won't show a single box, butt, or boob shot on TV since Janet-gate. Remember the good ol' days when people could really call it, "the boob tube"? *sniff*

no, the women made the choice to become cheer leaders they didnt have to. and in a sport like football where ther is alot of stops in the game (i love football btw) you need somethjing to watch otherwise it would get boring while the players are walking around.
