Absolutely! Many people are so intolerably ignorant that they believe whatever the media says. Little do they know the media has absolutely no interest in presenting the truth whatsoever. They merely use the truth as a guideline, because it's less effort that making things up entirely. However, the truth is not what sells papers/gets viewers, it's not sensationalist enough. People want enemies, in the 0's it was Christians, between the middle ages and the 1950's it was Jews and now it's Muslims.

If people were less ignorant there wouldn't be any need to hate people and blame others for your own problems.

I think people need to be more proactive and read about things before jumping to any conclusions. If people knew anything about Muslims - they would be amazed. They fast for an entire month, meaning no food, water, gum, swearing, touching the opposite sex, having impure thoughts between sunrise and sunset for thirty days!

How many people around here have that kind of commitment to their religion? How many people around here eat pork when almost every religion said at one point in time it's wrong, but only changed it so life would be more "convienient." In my opinion God shouldn't be about convinenience. It should be dedication and love.

In their relgion is emphisizes keep the house clean, waiting until your married to have sexual intercourse, both genders should wear 75% of clothing while out in public. These are things that have been in other religions too, but again were voided for convienience.

This war in my opinion is rediculous. I saw an icon that makes a lot of sence. It said, bombing for peace is like having sex for virginity - obviously I'm paraphrasing. And it's absolutely correct. Google these words : In Plane Sight and see what you come up with. It's the film Michael Moore should have made.

David, you really need to google search the words I've listed above. This war isn't about religion.

No, the media bends over backwards to make sure that they do not offend the Muslims. It is not or ever portrayed in a negative light...and when it gets into a position that it has no choice...the media usually uses the terms "isolated Islam extremists" or "renegade Islam terrorists". They are careful not to label.

Yes, I have been reading the Koran for a very important person in my life and I am seeing things for myself, not from someone else's perspective. People just need to remember there are two sides to every story...including religion.
