Why some people get mad with my name?

I mean why can't you be proud of your race? I've seen a lot of people too using the name of "black proud" or "mexican proud" too...and i don't get mad of it!

Because it makes you sound like a white supremacist. Guess what? there are black and brown supremacists as well.

Black and brown people have been opressed and taught that they were worthless. They were ni**ers and spi**s. They were useless animals. Not even real human beings. So they feel the need to uplift themselves from they days they were so fiercely put into bondage. It's not been THAT long since the civil rights days. Slavery wasn't that long ago either. Which is why it's accepted.

However, who's oppressed white people?

I suppose there's nothing wrong with being proud of your race or culture. Yet pride is pride. There's a thin line between pride and bigotry.

Because when people hear 'white pride' they think of the KKK. I have no problems with your name though. I wouldn't have a problem with a 'black proud' or 'mexican proud' name either.

i think its fine that you're proud of your race but i bet a lot of people see it as you're glad you're white because white people are the so called "dominant race" they prolly get the idea that you think you're better then other races. and why do you have to be a white proud american anyways? why can you just be a proud american? you dont have to be white to be proud of where you come from. you may not have ment it to be offesensive but i can see why a lot of people would take it the wrong way

I have no idea, but I agree with your point. I am proud to be white, and I am proud to be me!! IF you can't be proud of what you are, then what the hell is the point of living?

To me, being white, I would think you are an arrogant American who is probably a bigot and a jerk. I'm glad you are happy of your race, but being white is no better than any other skin color. Everyone is the same in the long run, yet no one can figure that out. For other races, they had to EARN what little respect they get now, so for them it's a completely different story

on the other hand..i think that people who are trully proud of their own haritage national or cultural no mater what race or color they are - do understain and respect pride of others.
they are secure in knowing what they are .
if you color your face whith shoe polish pretending being black...dont think you would get much respect from anybody.

It sounds as if you're describing yourself... like you're putting your race in front of anything about you, which appears racist. After you explained in your question that you were just proud of your race, I was fine with it. You might want to rephrase it as "Proud White American."

And yes, I am white, so don't go saying I'm racist too.

The reason people get mad when you say something like that is because 90% of people who say that are white supremacists who like to emphasize the superiority of their race.
