Well you can't make many promises during a speech before you haven't been elected. For example look at what President Bush went through. In his State of the Union Address in January of 2005 he never thought he'd be dealing with Katrina and it's aftermath, or his inauguration speech and the terrorist attacks that have followed to this day, whether taken out or foiled.

Speeches are rather hard to critique when you don't know what exactly the base of it will be so just send me a message and I can tell you the details from there.

Just announce that the geeks have a deal with the jocks to take the school by force and blow up the cafeteria. Then you spread rumors on how the body has to be afraid until all geeks and jocks are eliminated. After doing this go wage war against the shop class for bulding crafts of mass instruction and blame it on the math teachers. Should pretty much wrap up your campaign.

It's great to gather your thoughts and ideas, but don't ever write a speech word for word. You can take notes with you to make sure you cover everything, only don't write out a speech. Speak from within yourself instead, just as you talk to people daily without using a script.

It doesn't matter, just make up ****. It is not like Class Presidents ever do anything in the first place.

I wrote the speech of the person who won as class president in eighth grade. The basic premise of it was that she wouldn't promise to do a bunch of impossible things. Instead, she would simply do her best, with the help of the administration and the student body, to lead everyone effectively.
Too often in ANY form of politics, whoever makes the most empty promises wins. In the case of the girl who won when we were in eighth grade, it was her honesty and integrity that caused her to win.
If you need help with any proofreading, feel free to contact me. I'm a writer, and I'm experienced with that kind of thing. If not, good luck to you, I hope you win.
