There is a deal of confusion about this, because although the United States is supposed to be one nation under God, it still is not a theocracy, technically.
Liberals often take the position that because we're not a theocracy, then we weren't founded upon Godly principles and God shouldn't be in our midst. But then, we all know now that liberalism is a mental disorder, and liberals need to be in mental hospitals.

The only country i know that's a theocracy is Iran. Laws are based on the Quran, having body parts cut off is not favorite pass time.

No existing country is a true theocracy. Iran has a council of Mullahs who can veto certain legislation, so it has elements of a theocracy.
I'm sure you can think of the disadvantages.

Before someone says 'Iran', i think they'll find Iran is a Constitutional Monarchy by strict definition, just as we are in the UK. I dont think their are many actual Theocracies left in the world

England and Iran. Iran isn't so bad. At least you don't have to pray to Saint Henry the Eighth.
