You know, I am all for men supporting the offspring they leave in their wake. However, in these type of circumstances, why don't you just move on and get his parental rights terminated, get a job and deal with it on your own. 8 years is a long time and your going to have to anyway. Good Luck!

There are times when the circumstances are right that they will give him a job while in jail and then you will receive those monies. I am not sure what qualifies someone but you may want to look into that. My boss's ex was in jail she only got $50 a month but it was something.

You look indignant, yet you are the bonehead who married a drug broking. You advised him to get on his ft, now you elect for the money he would not have from the job he would not have. wait and spot, for god's sake. you assert it like he chosen an entire life of crime over you and the youngster, yet in certainty you chosen a criminal to make a baby with. it is not a marvel the criminal wasn't a to blame dad. you haven't any longer every physique to blame yet your self. EDIT: so which you're no longer to blame. It would not exchange certainty, criminals take a mutually as to get acclimated, in the event that they ever do in any respect. whether, you and your son have been sufferers of your ex's criminal habit. there isn't any reason in the back of you to warfare one greater minute devoid of his father being expected to do his area. stable luck.

You would be better off eliminating this man from your life and doing your best to raise your child alone. Anything you would get, it would be next to nothing.

Sometimes the state will pay his support and go after him for repayment later.
