I dropped out, went back, got my GED. And went to college. Sorry, but I would never down someone for dropping out. Life doesn't give us all a bed of roses.

Personally I have no prejudice against anyone who drops out of high school. Everyone has different reasons for doing what they do and I am not the one to judge. Now if you drop out and sit on your butt and do nothing, then I could see the problem. Who know's maybe you'll get your diploma or a g.e.d later. I dropped out, went back years later and got my g.e.d because I deceided I wanted to attend college. It is your life and up to you how you choose to live it.

first off it's not only women who are prejudice towards people who drop out of high school. there are many people who look down on someone who dropped out of high school. so for you to say it's just women is wrong. this questions should have been directed towards everyone and not just women.

I have kept the fact that I dropped out a secret for many years. No one knows! It drives me crazy that people are so quick to dismiss you because they think you are less educated. I am now the owner of two businesses and have no problem understanding anything put in front of me. My advice is just don't say anything about it. I would add, that if you want people to take you seriously you must take the time to educate yourself along the way.

It depends on the circumstances.
It generally shows a lack of dedication and poor judgment when someone does not complete basic education. (Unless the person had health issues.)
The more important thing to look at is whether they are making an effort to better their circumstances once they do drop out of high school.

If you are one of the few drop outs who manage to make a real success of yourself, most women wouldn't care whether you have a degree or not.
But if you are stuck in a dead-end job because of no diploma, then she would care!

Who says we are? two of my boyfriends dropped out of high school and I have a master's degree. They were smart but THEY couldn't get over the fact that I was paper educated and it ate at THEM, not at me. So, shove it up yours buddy.

There is no reason that you don't have your diploma other than laziness. Why would a woman want a lazy man that she is going to have to take care of?
