You can return a scratched disk to the manufacturer for a free replacement.
Check the warranty card that came with the disk.

If you only just bought it and it's scratched to the point of being unreadable, take it back to where you bought it along with your receipt and tell them either they're giving you a new copy or giving you your money back. You spent money for a working CD, you didn't receive it, let 'em know.

GAME DR. best thing out there. not cheap but well worth it in the end. buy one and fix all your scratched up discs.
