If you run the battery all the way down and charge it do you get a few minutes of usage from it ? if so the charger is doing the job and it more than likely is the battery
Not knowing what your charger is like there may be another appliance in your home that takes the same kind of plug in that you could check it with.
My cordless phone matchs my weed eater believe it or not.

The battery may be too old. If not, its your charger. Sometimes when I charge for more than 8 hours, mine will not hold long.

Get a new battery. If it won't charge, it was the charger.

first off dont u have a warranty??? secondly buy a new battery and stick it on the charger. if it charges and ur drill works fine, then ur in good shape. plus theyre not even that expensive.

most likely the battery the nice thing no one tells you about these batteries is when they "go" it is often a single cell of the battery.
i have know guys who go to american science and surplus and get the single cells to repair thier battery pack. my guess is you could replace all the cells in your batery pack for less than the cost of a new one, if you are willing to put in the time.
