i found my long lost brother, he was 4 when i seen him last, it's been 19 yrs. i emailed him telling him who i was, we have the same dad, it wasn't a nice divorse, he and his mom left to germany, she remarried, did she say something bad to him that he wouldn't want to know his sister? what do think? what else can do? i don't want to give up so fast, it's been about 3 weeks since i emailed him. anyone else have this problem?

hes probably feeling akward or skeptical. he might think that someone is playing a trick on him or somthing. and his mother may have said somthing bad about you or warned him that you would do this. there could be a million reasons why he's not responding.keep trying though. you may get through to him.

Are you sure the email address is current? I know I have at least 4 email addresses out there that I haven't checked in months. You might be better off calling or mailing a letter. Do you have a phone number or address? If not, you could try a people search site. I've used this one with good results and it was less than $10.

He will respond. He is probably talking or arguing with dear old mom about not being able to know you for so long. He just needs some time to clear his head.
