I'm only 26, but when I’m called a girl… it takes me back to my childhood and makes me smile, because I remember how beautiful and amazing the world looked through my eyes back then.

No.

I'd be offended if you called me a boy, but that's because I'm female.

I've never figured out why people get upset about this type of verbiage...My mom has a complete cow when I refer to my coworkers as "ladies". FYI, they're "women" in case anyone's curious...the difference is something I've never figured out, but there ya go!

No. I rarely think of my gender, but if I do, I refer to myself as a girl. Because although I'm 40, I'm fairly immature (that's what not having kids will do for you).

If it is necessary for my gender to be commented on, I prefer girl over woman, female or lady.

No, because it's basically saying I look younger than I actually am. It's not something I would ever lose sleep over.

Only when it's being said condescendingly, or the person calling me a girl thinks that they're better/more mature than me.

I feel like 'boy' and 'girl' are terms of endearment. I'm not offended. (I am an adult.)

I think the term guys or girls is okay. Boy is a little demeaning, unless someone says, "one of my boys" and its your buddy.
