my mother had her period through pregnancy each month and neve had a positive pregnancy test (including blood tests done by the doctor)
she was confirmed pregnant the old fashioned way (by pelvic exam) at more than 5 months and had an ultrasound shortly after to date the pregnancy.

When I went to pick up my 6 year old daughter I felt something weird in my body, then I went to the Doctor and he verified it. NOW REMEMBER one thing usually when you have periods when you are pregnant it is a high risk pregnancy. It could be Placenta Previa, where the baby should be the placenta is. You cannot have a regular birth (has to be a c-section) because if the placenta comes first your baby will not be able to breath while he is coming out. Another one is when Placenta gets loose, meaning that is doesn't attach to the womb correctly, a c-section on that one also. Because if you bleed too much the baby will not get enough oxygen. I had both. So I know what I am talking about. My Doctor made me carry a card that if I fainted or started really bleeding to take to the nearest Big Hospital. Some Doctors put you on bed rest. Take Care of Yourself.
P.S. I did not say this to scare you, that is the last thing I want to do in your condition. Just make sure that your Doctor knows what he is doing. ASK QUESTIONS.i

Well, I dont' know how to answer your question because thereis no such thinga s a period during pregnancy. You can bleed during pregnancy, but it's not a period. If you think for some reason that you are pregnant but you are still bleeding then go to your doc & request a blood test.

You cant have a period while you are pregnant, but you can bleed. I bled throughout my pregnancy and found out later I had placents previa. I knew I was pregnant early on because I had morning sickness.

u could be, my friend was six months pregnant and she still had her period and no symptoms so she didn't know she was pregnant so she went to the doctor for a check up and then they told her and she now has a health baby boy.

I was so sick and nauseous I couldn't even take my older son into a McDonald's without having to run to the bathroom and throw up. Smells really got to me. And I had round ligament pain where it feels like something inside you is ripping - its your uterus stretching.
